Naivasha Day Trip

The day starts with early morning pick up from your hotel or B&B heading towards the Rift Valley town of Naivasha.Mid way you will make a stop over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take photos and enjoy epic views of this natural feature.
Afterwards proceed with the journey to the Lakeside town of Naivasha taking a short break to rest and rejuvenate upon arrival.

Your first activity will be a visit to the Hell's Gate National Park for a cycling or walking safari which is a rare opportunity for great encounters with wildlife on a guided tour in their natural habitat.

Apart from these game sightings the enchanting beauty of the Rift Valley is mirrored by breathtaking physical features that include gorges dug through by water and earth movements over time to form picturesque canyons, free standing rock pillars and geothermal spas that span across the park. Upon exiting the park you will take a break for lunch savouring a well done Tilapia fish dish from the lake which is a favourite local delicacy.
After the break an exploration tour of the lake awaits where you will traverse around the lake for an hour or so by boat enjoying and capturing great shots of hippopotamus guarding their territory suspiciously,marine birds wading and fish eagles hunting.
The boat ride takes you mid lake to Crater Island full of antelopes Giraffes and Buffalo herds which is another opportunity to enjoy game on sightings on foot
Later embark on the return journey to your drop off point marking the end of the tour.

Optionally you may visit the the nearby Mt Longonot park for a full day hike breaking for lunch and swimming at a natural spa to relax your muscles at the end of the tour
